ProfitMAX Manufacturing Circle

Insights from FASSI & Michele Dossi in Malaysia

On August 27, members of the ProfitMAX Manufacturing Circle came together for another inspiring session—this time hosted at the office of Michele Dossi.

Michele, representing FASSI, the global leader in truck-mounted cranes, delivered a presentation that was both animated and insightful. With a 40% worldwide market share, operations in 110 countries, and an annual turnover of about 1.8 billion Euros, FASSI stands as a true industry powerhouse.

Through engaging videos, Michele showcased the company’s relentless focus on innovation and R&D, revealing how FASSI continues to secure its unique position in the global market. He also shared the strategic thinking behind FASSI’s bold move to establish its first plant outside of Italy in Malaysia—a decision that highlights both the company’s growth strategy and Malaysia’s rising role as a manufacturing hub.

Before we wrapped up the session, I took a few minutes to reconnect with our members by reviewing PEN’s Vision, Mission, and Core Values, and sharing updates on our upcoming initiatives, including Project XXX.

The day ended on a delicious note, with Michele—who also serves as the President of Italcham Malaysia—treating us to lunch at Gamberoni Restaurant. The spread of authentic Italian dishes was memorable, but the Tiramisu truly stole the show!

A big thank you to Jeen Lim, Goh Ming Hun, Zloty, Carol Ng, Foo Jong Wee, and Sue Anne Choo for making this gathering even more meaningful.

The ProfitMAX Manufacturing Circle continues to grow as a vibrant platform for knowledge-sharing, networking, and collaboration. If you’d like to join us at our next session in September, or if you’d like more information, feel free to Contact us.
