Our annual PEN Durian Party is more than a casual meetup. It’s a unique business networking event in Malaysia where founders, professionals, and creatives come together to build meaningful connections over the King of Fruits.
Led by Jeen, our ever-energetic events coordinator, this year’s durian escapade took us back to Say Heng, a beloved roadside durian stall in USJ 2, the same place where this juicy tradition first began in 2024. From rich Musang King to flavorful kampung durians, the spread satisfied every craving and sparked even richer conversations.
The gathering brought together 22 PEN members, creating an intimate yet lively atmosphere perfect for exchanging ideas and inspiration. The chats flowed effortlessly, from diamonds and photography, to bungee jumping in New Zealand, and of course, updates on everyone’s business ventures and entrepreneurial journeys.
At PEN, we don’t believe networking has to be stiff. Sometimes, the most unforgettable insights come between bites of durian. Because here, the conversation doesn’t end when the seeds are out, that’s when things really get juicy.
